SV Solutions Protection Plan Agreement
This Protection Plan Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between SV Solutions USA LLC (“SV Solutions”), a Texas company, and the purchaser of LED screen products (“Customer”). This Agreement governs the terms and conditions of the Protection Plan purchased by Customer for LED screen products sold by SV Solutions.
1. Term of Warranty
1.1 All LED screen products purchased from SV Solutions include a standard two (2) year manufacturer’s warranty.
1.2 The Protection Plan provides an additional three (3) years of coverage that begins immediately after the manufacturer’s warranty ends, for a total of five (5) combined years from the invoice date.
1.3 The Protection Plan must be purchased within ninety (90) days of the original date of purchase.
1.4 The five (5) years combined coverage period will always be calculated from the original invoice date stamped on Customer’s purchase invoice, regardless of when the Protection Plan was purchased.
1A. Retroactive Purchase Option
1A.1 Customers who previously purchased an LED screen from SV Solutions may still acquire the Protection Plan no later than ninety (90) days after the initial date of purchase. For any purchase made after the original invoice date, the only available payment method is the sixty (60) monthly installment plan; the one-time payment option is expressly unavailable.
1A.2 The Protection Plan term will retroactively apply from the original invoice date of the purchase.
1A.3 No extensions, resets, or renewals beyond five (5) years combined from the original purchase invoice date shall be granted.
2. Coverage
2.1 Covered parts include:
- LED modules and pixels
- Power supplies
- Receiving cards
- Hubs
- Power connecting Cables (Daisy chain between panels)
- Data Connecting Cables (Daisy chain between panels)
- Main Power Cable
- Internal cables
- Masks
- Locking Pins
- Data Connectors
- Power Connectors
- IC Drivers
- PCB board
2.2 Coverage under this Protection Plan applies only to defects, malfunctions, or complete electronic failures of the covered components that occur during normal use of the equipment in accordance with SV Solutions’ guidelines and the manufacturer’s specifications.
The Protection Plan expressly excludes Normal Wear and Tear. Normal Wear and Tear includes, but is not limited to, any decrease in performance or aesthetic change resulting from the natural aging process of the LED screen and its components. Specifically, coverage does not include:
- Diminished Brightness or Contrast: Any reduction in display brightness, contrast ratio, or light output resulting from the natural lifespan and degradation of the LED diodes.
- Color Shifts: Any change or loss in color consistency or calibration across the display over time.
- Cosmetic Wear: Minor scratches, scuffs, or changes to the finish that do not affect the functional performance of the covered parts.
Furthermore, coverage does not extend to failures caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation, operating the equipment outside recommended environmental or electrical conditions, or any circumstance that accelerates wear beyond what would reasonably be expected in normal use.
2.3 Accidental or intentional damage is not covered under this Protection Plan. This includes, but is not limited to: drops, impacts, collisions, crushing, liquid spills, exposure to rain or moisture, fire, smoke, vandalism, tampering, negligence, or any other event that results from mishandling or deliberate action. Any damage caused by actions outside of normal, proper usage—whether accidental or intentional—falls outside the scope of coverage under this Agreement.
3. Other Exclusions
The following are expressly excluded from coverage:
- Misuse or improper installation, including but not limited to damage caused during setup or mounting.
- Relocation of equipment: If the LED screen is moved from its original installation location by the Customer or any third party without prior written approval from SV Solutions and without the use of SV Solutions’ authorized technicians, the Protection Plan shall be immediately void, regardless of whether the original installation was performed by SV Solutions or by the Customer.
- Indoor screens used outdoors or exposed to water or weather conditions not intended for the product.
- Damage to protective equipment or shipping materials, such as flight cases, wood crates, or boxes.
- Excessive dead pixels beyond normal tolerance (more than four (4) pixels per module), which shall be considered a sign of misuse and therefore excluded from coverage.
- Normal cosmetic wear that does not affect functionality.
- Damage resulting from acts of God, power surges, negligence, abuse, or unauthorized modifications. This includes but is not limited to: lightning strikes, floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, fire, or any other natural disaster; electrical failures such as power surges, brownouts, or unstable power sources; improper care, mishandling, dropping, or physical abuse of the equipment; failure to follow manufacturer or SV Solutions usage guidelines; or any modifications, alterations, or repairs performed by parties not authorized by SV Solutions.
- Rental companies and portable setups: This warranty does not cover products subject to frequent transport, mobile configurations, or rental use where equipment undergoes abnormal wear and tear due to repeated handling.
- The Protection Plan is void if the LED screen is re-sold, transferred, or assigned to any third party other than the original purchasing company or individual listed on the invoice. This means coverage applies only to the original purchaser of record. If the equipment is sold, given away, leased, rented, or otherwise transferred—whether permanently or temporarily—to another party, all rights under this Protection Plan shall immediately terminate. SV Solutions does not permit the transfer or assignment of Protection Plan benefits to new owners, resellers, rental companies, or other third parties under any circumstance. Furthermore, if the original purchasing company or entity undergoes a change of control, merger, or acquisition, the Protection Plan will be void unless SV Solutions provides prior written consent.
- Any component, accessory, or service not expressly listed in Section 2 (Coverage) is excluded from this Protection Plan. Items not specifically identified as “covered” shall be deemed not covered, regardless of whether they are associated with, attached to, or used in connection with the LED screen system.
- Outdoor screens of any kind are excluded from coverage. This includes both rental-style outdoor panels and permanently installed fixed outdoor LED displays. Digital signage products intended for outdoor use are also expressly excluded from this Protection Plan, regardless of configuration or installation type.
- Pixel/Module Physical Damage: Any physical damage to an LED module, including but not limited to detached pixels, missing pixel lenses, cracked pixel faces, or physical separation of pixel components such as IC drivers or Resistors from the Printed Circuit Board (PCB), shall be considered a sign of misuse, mishandling, or external impact and is expressly excluded from coverage under this Protection Plan. Coverage for LED modules and pixels is strictly limited to internal electronic failures as specified in Section 2.2 and 2.3.
4. Repair and Replacement Procedure
4.1 Claims must be submitted through market.svsolutionsusa.com/technical-support/
4.2 The Customer is fully responsible for shipping defective items to SV Solutions, including all outbound shipping costs. Once the repair is complete, SV Solutions will cover the cost of shipping the repaired items back to the Customer.
4.3 A maximum of four (4) items may be submitted per shipment for repair. For example, a shipment could include 4 LED modules, or 2 LED modules plus 1 power supply plus 1 receiving card. Once those items have been repaired and returned, the Customer may submit additional items in a new shipment. No additional claims or shipments by the customer will be accepted while a claim is being processed.
4.4 Repair lead time is generally forty-five (45) to sixty (60) days from the date SV Solutions receives the defective parts. However, repairs may take longer depending on factors such as part availability, supply chain delays, and overall workload.
4.5 Repairs will use available parts and current technology. SV Solutions does not guarantee identical match to original parts, or lamps from the same batch. Repaired equipment may have slight performance or appearance variations.
Over time, LED screens naturally experience normal aging and wear, such as changes in brightness, color calibration, or finish. For this reason, even when brand-new, original replacement parts are installed, they may appear slightly different from the existing equipment due to the customer’s prior years of use. These differences are cosmetic in nature and do not affect the functionality or performance of the repaired product.
5. Credit Policy
5.1 If, and only if, SV Solutions is unable to repair or source a replacement part otherwise covered under this Agreement, SV Solutions, at its sole discretion, may issue a store credit equal to the then-current sale value of the specific defective part itself. This applies even if the part is one component of a larger LED screen assembly. In such cases, the credit will be issued solely for the defective module, power supply, card, or component, and not for the value of the entire screen or system in which the part is installed.
5.2 Credit may only be used toward the purchase of LED screen products, including LED panels, processors, spare parts, front-service tools, or full LED screen bundles sold by SV Solutions. Credit cannot be redeemed for cash, refunded, transferred, be used for unrelated items or services, or applied to non-LED-screen items. The credit amount issued will be equal to the amount originally paid for that specific part at the time of the purchase, or, if the part was included within a bundle, an equivalent value determined at SV Solutions’ sole discretion. The issuance of credit for the amount originally paid does not guarantee that the comparable replacement part will have the same price, and in some cases the current market value may be higher. All purchases made using credit must comply with the minimum order quantities (MOQ) applicable to the product; customers may not purchase quantities below the required minimum even when applying credit.
5.3 Credit is non-transferable, has no cash value, and expires if unused.
Any credit issued under this Protection Plan must be applied within ninety (90) days from the date it is provided by SV Solutions. After ninety (90) days, the credit automatically expires and becomes void, with no extensions, renewals, or reinstatements permitted under any circumstance.
6. Payment Terms
6.1 Protection Plan fee options:
If SV Solutions does not install the screen:
- At time of purchase: $67 per month for sixty (60) months; or $3,799 one-time payment.
- If purchased within ninety (90) days after purchase: $79 per month for sixty (60) months (one-time payment option not available).
If SV Solutions does install the screen:
- At time of purchase: $47 per month for sixty (60) months; or $2,599 one-time payment.
- If purchased within ninety (90) days after purchase: $57 per month for sixty (60) months (one-time payment option not available).
6.2 Payments must remain current at all times. If any payment is cancelled, missed, declined, or otherwise fails for any reason, the Protection Plan shall be deemed immediately void and all rights under this Agreement shall be forfeited.
6.3 Once cancelled or terminated, the Protection Plan cannot be reinstated under any circumstance. No refunds, credits, or partial reimbursements will be issued, regardless of the reason for cancellation or termination.
6.4 It is the Customer’s responsibility to maintain accurate and up-to-date payment information at all times. This includes ensuring that the payment method on file remains valid, active, and sufficiently funded. Failure to update expired cards, closed accounts, or any other invalid payment method will result in missed or declined payments, which shall void the Protection Plan in accordance with Section 6.2.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 SV Solutions’ liability is limited exclusively to repair, replacement, or credit as outlined in this Agreement.
7.2 SV Solutions shall have no liability whatsoever for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages of any kind, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business, business interruption, downtime, or data loss, whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise, even if SV Solutions has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
7.3 Customer assumes all risk and responsibility for shipping items to SV Solutions. Once repaired items are shipped back, SV Solutions shall not be liable under any circumstance for loss, theft, or damage occurring while in the possession of the carrier. SV Solutions will always include standard shipping insurance and will assist the Customer in filing an insurance claim with the carrier; however, by accepting this Agreement the Customer expressly releases SV Solutions from any liability relating to carrier loss, delays, or damages.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
8.1 This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
8.2 Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Harris County, Texas, or by binding arbitration at SV Solutions’ election.
9. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Customer and SV Solutions regarding the Protection Plan and supersedes prior communications. Any modification must be in writing and signed by both parties.
10. Miscellaneous Provisions
10.1 No In-Person Warranty Service.
No In-Person Warranty Service. SV Solutions does not provide on-site or in-person warranty service. In the event of a defective product, the Customer is responsible for removing the defective part (following SV Solutions’ instructions), shipping it to SV Solutions for repair, and reinstalling the repaired or replacement part upon return. This requirement applies regardless of whether SV Solutions originally performed the installation.
10.2 Technician Services Not Included.
Technician Services Not Included. The Protection Plan does not cover labor by SV Solutions technicians for moving, uninstalling, or reinstalling equipment, even if SV Solutions performed the original installation. Such services must be quoted and billed separately.
10.3 Excluded Equipment.
Excluded Equipment. The Protection Plan specifically excludes truss structures, ground support systems, crank stands, video processors, and any other equipment or accessory not expressly listed as covered in this Agreement.
10.4 Non-Refundable Protection Plan; Delayed Service Activation.
Non-Refundable Protection Plan; Delayed Service Activation. The Customer acknowledges and agrees that the Protection Plan is non-refundable under all circumstances. The Customer further understands that the Protection Plan fee is paid at the time of the LED screen purchase, but coverage and service benefits do not begin until two (2) years after the original purchase date of the led screen. No refunds, prorated credits, or cancellations are permitted once the Protection Plan has been purchased.
Customer acknowledges they have read and understood this Agreement and agree to be bound by its terms.

- Coverage always starts from your invoice date (years 3 years after the manufacturer’s warranty).
- Protection plan is void if equipment is moved without SV Solutions’ authorized technicians handling the process, used in rentals, or misused (e.g., indoor screens outdoors, water damage, etc.).
- If we can’t repair or replace a part, we issue store credit for the parts toward your next led system complete package.
- You pay shipping to SV Solutions; we cover return shipping.
- Repairs usually take 45–60 days depending on parts.
- If you purchased within the last 90 days, you can still add the Protection Plan (Less expensive if purchased at the beginning).
